Had this morning off and checked once more for Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows w/o luck. I checked Bar Lake again and all the spots in the Manistee State Game Area, most of which are too dry now with the lower lake levels to support sedge marsh.

Highlights were 6 Lincoln's Sparrows, a flock of 36 Rusty Blackbirds, 15 Black-bellied Plovers and a late (for this area) 2 Lesser Golden Plovers.

Gray Catbirds and Common Yellowthroats still very numerous and also had Nashville Warbler, House Wren, and Rose-breasted Grosbeak for the lingering neotropical migrants.
