fall out --wave here

My usual concern and complaining about the lack of birds in this area, particulary migrants will have to take a bit of respite the past day or two! Some sort of wave or fallout has brought a flurrie of activity to our property and the adjoining next door undeveloped Twp. park! Noteworthy sightings since last evening, most usually not seen all at one time here are:

Purple Finches 4
Red Breasted Nuthatches 4
Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers 3
Yellow Rumped Warblers 2
Blackburnian Warbler 1
EASTERN WOOD PEE-WEE 2
Robins dozens, flyovers & on the lawns
Tufted Titmouse 4
Red-tailed Hawks 2
Coopers Hawk 1
Turkey Vultures 2
Cedar Waxwings 8
Common Grackles dozens everywhere
Eastern Bluebirds 2
Gray Catbird 1
Killdeer 3
Brown-headed Cowbird 12

Plus the usual permanent residents:

Red Bellied Woodpeckers 3
Downy Woodpeckers 4
Black-capped Chickadees 6
Blue Jays 8
Cardinals 4
Goldfinch 10
House Finch 15
White- breasted Nuthatch 3
Mourning Doves 10
Starlings 15
American Crows 3
House Sparrows 20

Quite a "busy bird" day but alas no Hummingbirds seen for a few days
