Search for N. Sharp-tailed Sparrow (no sightings)

Birders-

I searched Hofma Park in Grand Haven today in an effort to locate Nelson's 
Sharp-tailed Sparrow in Michigan.  I did not succeed, but I am beginning to 
hone my search image.  I hope you'll read my blog update 
(http://aviantendencies.blogspot.com/) and consider what sites in your area 
might be appropriate for this species, and maybe even walking a few weedy 
fields over the next couple weeks!  Here you can find my original post on

I will update this blog regularly throughout the peak migration window (25 
Sept- 5 Oct), and probably into mid-October.  The full window is 
approximately 15 Sept-20 Oct.
