Pine Siskins, Ionia...

While we're on the subject, I woke up this morning really wanting to
see a flock of Pine Grosbeaks. I prayed that I would find exactly 29
of them along M-57 between Podunk Ave and Montcalm Ave while driving
home from work, but I saw zilch. They would have been a new bird for
my Kent County list. Why didn't God answer my prayer and let me see
Pine Grosbeaks this afternoon? Did I do something wrong to deserve
this? Or does God just choose to let my bird sightings happen
randomly? One thing seems for certain...if I could figure this whole
prayer thing out, I could set tons of new bird listing records.
