Black Scoters, OC Warblers, Manistee

Took a test drive with my post-surgical body today and was able to check Williamsport to practice for tomorrow's Lakeshore bird count.  

For about one hour I found 3 Common Loons, 3 Horned Grebes, and a suprising 3 groups of Black Scoters, 2 females off the pier on the water and two flocks one of ten with 3 White-winged Scoters. and another flock of 5.  

Also in the thickets today 5-6 Orange-crowned Warblers.
