Eugene Kenaga Passes On

I received word that Gene Kenaga, the "Grandfather" of Saginaw Bay Birding and a wonderful human being, has passed away at age 90.  Gene was an important part of many efforts here in the Saginaw Bay region.  His leadership helped many organizations become successful - the Saginaw Bay WIN project, Chippewa Nature Center, and The Little Forks Conservancy, are just a few of the groups where Gene played a leadership role in their development.  I encourage you to read Gene's obituary by following the link below.  I think that you'll agree that Gene was a remarkable person and that he will be missed by all who knew him.
