Benzie County birds this weekend

Harlequin Duck, there was a female plumaged bird feeding up close
among the rocks on the outside of the Elberta breakwall sunday
morning. As Doug Cook and I walked out it flew back behind us and
returned to the end of the breakwall when we headed back to shore.
Hopefully it will stay around.

Bohemian Waxwings were in several places on Sunday, 150 along M22 at
Carlson rd just north of the bridge over the Bestsie, John Ester saw
a flock up near Little Platte, Lake and I saw two small flocks fly
over near Upper Herring Lake in the afternoon.

Also, in Benzie Co; lots of redpolls, evening grosbeaks, n. shrike,
snow buntings, pine sisken, and 3 sharp-shins.
