On 11/16 had a mixed flock of 75-100 waxwings, most of which were Bohemians, on M-55 just east of Kettle Hole Rd.
I doubt the birds will remain at that location, but I don't recall any Lower Peninsula Bohemian reports yet this Fall, so I thought I'd post that they're here.
Also spent an hour or so at the end of the Manistee (south) pier; thousands of Long-tailed Ducks and hundreds of Bonaparte's Gulls swarming about, and a few Bufflehead, Goldeneye, Scaup, Redhead, Wh-winged Scoter and fair numbers of Merganser (Common & Red br.) migrating by. Almost everything quite distant. Portage and Arcadia Lakes had fair numbers of waterfowl. Red-necked Grebe on Arcadia.
