Carl,

My personal latest record of a Wood Thrush was 11-5-06 at Holiday Beach Conservation Area, Ontario which is south of Windsor. I don't believe I've seen any Wood Thrushes in Michigan later than September.

"The Birds of Michigan" (Granlund, McPeek, Adams 1994) says fall migration is usually complete by the first week of October, but on extremely rare occasions individuals have been seen into November and into the winter period. It mentions four Christmas Count records and one individual observed between 12/3/74 - 1/5/75 in Fenner Arboretum, East Lansing.
