The first annual Chequamegon Bay Birding & Nature Festival will be held along the south shore of Lake Superior in Ashland and Bayfield Counties, Wisconsin, from May 18-20, 2007.  The event will feature over 140 activities, including field trips, speakers, workshops, and youth programs, with a wide variety of nature-related topics.  Saturday's keynote speaker will be Julie Zickefoose, acclaimed nature artist and writer from Ohio.
