Red-throated Loon(s), Manistee Co.

  Carl Freeman and I found 4 Red-throated Loons off from the First St. Pier Sunday in Manistee.  Also present were about 70-80 Long-tailed Ducks quite a ways out.

  A relatively early Merlin was at the corner of Veterans Oak Grove Drive and Washington St. in Manistee.

  There was a lone White-winged Scoter at Williamsport at the west end of Portage Lake along with 100's of Goldeneyes, Redheads, Common Mergansers.
