I received a report from my wife, Cyndi, and her friend , Tina Pfeffer, this morning (3/17) that they had 3 Black-backed Woodpeckers (good views of a male and female and third bird heard) a short walk in to the exit point of the Seney driving loop on M-77. Birds were between where the driving loop bends to the right and the second tree across the road. Also within the first 1/2 mile was a large flock of Redpolls with a probable Hoary and some White-winged Crossbills.
