Manistee NAMC

just finished the comp of the Manistee NAMC.  we were down about 5 field observers this year (total 11 in the field) and suffered from a lack of ducks and migrating warblers but still did 169 species.

Highlights were Willet, Golden Eagle, Red-necked Grebe, Merlin, Cerulean Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush.  Low numbers for Bluebird (24 usually 50-60's) Eastern Phoebe 11 (usually 40-50).  Migrant warblers all in the single digits.  Good showing for late season birds including both cuckoos, Alder and Willow Flycatcher.
