Birders-

The Michigan Bird Records Committee website
(http://www.michiganaudubon.org/mbrc/mbrc_home.html) recently has been
updated with the following items:

1) The state checklist and state review list have both been made current
with recent voting rounds. Two new species have been added to the checklist
bringing the state total to 432 species.

2) Ross's Goose, still regular in status, has been reinstated to the review
list due to a change in the bylaws. We encourage everyone to resume
submitting documentation for all Ross's Geese.

3) The bylaws have been updated with two changes.

Despite these changes, the searchable database tool has **NOT** been updated
since the initial launch. This means that records acted upon in the past
several months (including those represented in the updated checklist and
review list) will not yet appear in the search results.

Lastly, the photo gallery has not recently been updated. We had been
anticipating a change in webhost (and a corresponding change in the layout
of the gallery), but this may not happen. We hope to get new photos up
soon.

Cheers,
Caleb Putnam
