Dickcissels in Huron County

Monica Essenmacher just reported five singing male Dickcissels on Fehner Rd, off Oak Beach Rd in Huron County on July 6th.  She also reported Red-breasted Nuthatch and Nashville Warbler at Port Crescent State Park on territory.
 
On another note, I heard and observed a male Northern Parula in Alabaster Twp, Iosco County last night (July 7) as soon as I got out of the car to visit my wife's family on Douglas Drive.  It continually sang and worked its way through White Pines and Oak trees as I watched/listened to it for twenty minutes.  This is a first SBA July NOPA record and first SBA summer record since '84.  This is also after a 'bumper crop' of reported NOPA's in the SBA's Spring '07 Bird Survey.  Incidentally, we were up there over a four day period last week and it wasn't there at that time.
