RFI - Birding sites around Ludington, Mason County

Dear Birders,

My family and I are coming from Pennsylvania to Ludington, Michigan next
week, and I am hoping to add to my newly-started North American life list. I
am especially interested in birds that may be difficult or uncommon to see
in PA like Northern Shrike, Snowy Owl, Bohemian Waxwing, or Snow Bunting, as
well as wintering ducks like Long-tailed Duck and Red-breasted Merganser. I
don't know how feasible some of these are, but I would appreciate knowing
locations near Ludington where I could look for some of them. If you know of
any other good birding locations in the area, I would also be pleased to
know of them.
