Ottawa County Red-throated Loon Continues

The Red-throated Loon seen Tuesday was located in the same area at the 
west end of Lake Macatawa both Saturday and today, Sunday, 1/7/2007. 
Best viewing areas may depend on wind direction, yesterday it was 
closest to the Coast Guard station, this afternoon it was on the 
opposite side, near the Eldean Shipyard docks.

Also, John Will reported to us that about 75 Sandhill Cranes were flying 
in to roost at the Kalamazoo River marsh near 130th street this evening.
