Some GBBC highlights St. Clair county

So far  doing the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) in this south end of St. Clair county, a few highlights:  
Eastern Screech Owls  
Great Horned Owl  (1 in broad daylight!)
Canvasbacks   (100s perhaps 1000s)
Redheads      (100s perhaps 1000s!)
Common Goldeneyes
Buffleheads
Mallards
Red Breasted Mergansers
Robins
Kestrels
Coopers Hawks
Red-Tail Hawks
Brown-Headed Cowbirds  !
Mute Swans  (many)
TUNDRA SWANS     (several off Marine City on the St. Clair River)

The wind and cold has been Brutal !  ---but we will now get back to it !
