Thank you,Bruce--You are right, and I goofed. The date of the book is
1912. So far I have a (restated) high bid of $50.00. The offer came with
a kind suggestion that it is OK if I change my mind and keep the book, now
that I know what a precious resource it is. Alas, it is tempting, but we're
seriously downsizing to move into an apartment, and we're being ruthless
with ourselves. Also, as my eyesight is getting poor, I'd like to put it in
the hands of someone who will use it more than I will.
