Manistee CBC results

Official results show 73 species. We did better than expected with 18 species of ducks concentrated in ice-free areas including Black and White-winged Scoters and several thousand Goldeneyes and Long-tailed Ducks.  

Pine Grosbeaks were omnipresent and some other hard to get birds present included Gadwall, Green-winged Teal, Canvasback, Kestrel, Common Snipe, Killdeer, Eastern Screech-Owl, Bohemian Waxwing, Winter Wren and Catbird.

More details probably after the Christmas holiday.
