Final thoughts- 2007 Nelson's Sparrow search

Birders-

During fall of 2007 I spent considerable time searching for Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows in Michigan.  I did not turn up the bird, but I did learn a lot.  I have summarized the search season and information gleaned from surrounding states and provinces on my blog (www.aviantendencies.blogspot.com).  I am very interested in feedback on the ideas put forth here (I could be wrong on many counts!), especially recommendations of other Michigan sites which I may be overlooking.  I will be searching again in fall 2008, and will certainly update the blog at that time.
