Hi, today, friday,  at 1 pm there was a mockingbird skulking in the 
brush next to the Betsie Valley Trail where the fishermen park to 
walk to the RR bridge off River Rd.  There is a triangle of brush, 
sumac, crabapple thorny tree between the road, the trail and the 
fence for the garden of the house right there. It was low and hard to 
see and would not let me get a photo. If not there,  it could be 
anywhere nearby as there is lots of cover, look around.  If anyone 
goes to look please do not disturb the bird too much so it will stay 
for the cbc.

Bohemian waxwings continue daily near our house.      Carl Freeman
