A short PM run yesterday from our home down to the Marsh found these notables:
AMERICAN BITTERNS 2
SANDHILL CRANES 2 (likely more)
Wood Ducks
Bonapartes Gulls dozens
Forsters Terns dozens
American Coots dozens
Pied-billed Grebes 2 pairs
Lesser Scaup
Redheads several
Turkey Vultures several
Red-tailed Hawks 3
Kestrel
Coopers Hawk
EASTERN SCREECH OWLS 2
Tree Swallows
Killdeer
Eastern Bluebirds several
White-Throated Sparrows several
Field Sparrows several
Savannah Sparrows several
Rusty Blackbirds dozens
Plus the many usual summer residents now present!
Still have a few at our feeders of:
Dark-eyed Juncos
American Tree Sparrows
Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers
No Warblers at all seen around here yet! :(
