Bonaparte's Gulls, Carson City

Scott -

   This is the time of year when I see Bonaparte's crossing the LP from east 
to west. It's about the only time I see them going overland, usually in a 
hurry.  Often my first reaction is "Pigeons."  Then I realize they all have the 
same plumage pattern and a somewhat different flight jizz.  When the wind is 
behind them they really haul tail, so to speak.

   They are likely to pause at the Carson City sewage lagoons as well.
