Any Whooping Cranes ?

Hello,

 

Should anyone sight a Whooping Crane, please notify as soon as possible
Operation Migration @ 1-800-675-2618 or 1-905-982-1096. Please note the
location of the bird (s) and if any of the leg bands (green, red, & white)
are visible, the color order for right AND left leg. Operation Migration
(www.operationmigration.org <http://www.operationmigration.org/> ), The
International Crane Foundation (www.savingcranes.org
<http://www.savingcranes.org/> ) , and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
are partners in the reintroduction of the Whooping Crane to the eastern U.S.
and are very interested in the location of the three whoopers currently
thought to be in Michigan.  Those involved with the Whooping Cranes ask that
the birds be observed from a distance, please do not approach these birds.
