Manistee pier lunch hour

sunny, mild, calm day finally.  went to the First St Pier for 20-30 min. over lunch hour.

looking for Ancient Murrlets, none there again.

2 Horned Grebes, 2 Cormorants, 8 White-winged Scoters, 50+ Long-tailed Ducks, 15 Common Mergs.  

Several Bonaparte's Gulls without any Little Gulls.

a flock of 50 Snow Buntings way out in the lake and watched for 10 minutes until they finally reached the pier, doubled back and circled to land on the beach.

5 very white juv. Sanderlings

no pipits

back to work.
