Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge Eagles and Owls Tour - 3/18

Saginaw Valley Audubon Society will lead an auto tour to see wintering bald
eagles and short-eared owls at Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge on
Saturday, March 18.  Group size is not limited, but participants must
register in advance by calling the refuge between 8:00AM and 4:00PM Mon-Fri
at (989) 777-5930 EXT 10.  There is no fee.  Participants will meet at the
refuge headquarters at the corner of Curtis and Mower Roads at 3:30PM.
This event may be cancelled due to inclement weather.  The last day to
register is March 16.

A recent Eagles and Owls Tour turned up 18 short-eared owls, 21 bald eagles
and 1 golden eagle.
