<DIV id=ViewArticle1_divPageText style="FONT-SIZE: 10px"><FONT size=2>Up to 2,000 fish and toads can be seen floating on the surface, tangled among the rubbish floating in the murky water.<BR><BR>But these are not pictures from a film, they are taken from a natural beauty spot, in Werrington, Peterborough.<BR><BR>It is believed that heavy rain on Wednesday night washed some dumped waste into the lake in Cuckoo's Hollow, off Skaters Way, turning the water poisonous.<BR><BR>Cllr John Fox was alerted to the problem when a worried resident came to see him, after spotting the dead fish and amphibians.<BR><BR>He made his way down to the site and quickly the saw devastation for himself.<BR>He said: "I went down and had a look and saw all the wildlife in the pond were being killed. <BR></FONT></DIV></DIV><FONT lang=0 face=Arial FAMILY="SANSSERIF" PTSIZE="10">
