AR-News: (AU/ES) Freeman wants end of running of bulls

Olympic golden girl Cathy Freeman has written a scathing letter to the
mayor of Pamplona calling for an end to the Running of the Bulls and
bullfighting in the Spanish town.

The letter, written on behalf of international animal rights group
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), was sent to Mayor
Yolanda Barcina Angulo.

"Running is something that I have enjoyed for years but your Running of
the Bulls is no fun for the animals," Freeman wrote in the letter.
