A man who kicked a kitten 12ft into the air has been banned from keeping
animals for six months.

Terry Harris, 25, of Welland Road, Yeovil, Somerset, was convicted of
animal cruelty in June and sentenced by Yeovil magistrates on Monday.

As well as the ban, Harris, an ex-tyre fitter, was ordered to do 180
hours of community service.
