THE Government has agreed to keep scientific procedures at Huntingdon
Life Sciences under wraps in a bid to protect employees from animal
rights protesters.
...
"Protecting scientists and their families from intimidation and
harassment and tackling animals rights extremism is a priority for the
Government," Ms Flint said.
"Section 24 will be retained for the time being, ensuring that
information that is open to abuse is not put directly into the public
domain."
It will revisit the issue again in two years' time.
