AR-News: (UK) Government may pay for animal activist damage

Montpellier Group, the company that is being targeted by animal rights
activists for building a new Oxford University laboratory, is in talks
with government officials in an attempt to gain compensation for damage.
According to Animal Liberation Front website magazine Arkangel, attacks
on Montpellier damaged a large number of tractors, bulldozers and a
crane.
The Aim-listed construction group is in talks with officials from 10
Downing Street about the acts, Building magazine will report today.
