Six Australian soldiers who were found guilty of cruelty to animals
after they tortured and killed a litter of kittens in Townsville are to
be discharged from the army.

The Commanding Officer of the Soldier Career Management Agency has
considered their cases, concluding they brought shame and discredit to
the Australian Army.
