***Animal Voices, Toronto's only animal rights/liberation radio program,
airs live every Tuesday 11 am - 12 pm EDT at CIUT 89.5 FM or www.ciut.fm. Tune in for a weekly update and editorial on animal-related news, as well as engaging interviews with activists and academics. Please send any questions or comments for our guests to animalvoices at ciut.fm. We will try our best to raise your concerns on air! Archived shows are available at http://www.animalvoices.ca***
Tomorrow's show will feature opinions about sex work and animal rights by sex workers themselves. Please join us, June 29th, for a conversation with the creator of the vegan pornography site, Veg Porn
(http://www.vegporn.com). We'll tackle sex work, indie porn, veganism and animal rights, and learn why this ambitious woman is so passionate about plants and pornography. According to the site, "VegPorn.com is the first and only page of its kind any where on or off the web: the only adult site made by and for plant-eaters! This is a very unique site with a theme that isn't based on size, age, weight, color, etc. It is a labor of lust run by one person and our models, and updated every-other week."
We'll also be joined by Mirha-Soleil Ross, a sex worker/trans/AR activist who will share her views on this year's Pride and her thoughts on pornography. Mirha-Soleil is also the co-producer and co-star of the
G-Sprout!, "A cyberspace encounter turns into a
trans-polysexual-vegan-docu-porno featuring urban veggie lovers speaking
out on dating, intimacy, and sex in a meat-centered culture." Check out

Furry Girl's (Veg Porn's creator) bio:
I'm 20, and I've been vegan for 5 years, and interested in sex work for
nearly as long. At 18, did my first softcore porn shoot for a large adult site, and the experience was very anti-sexual. I didn't lose faith in the idea of making good smut, and realized that I needed to be in control of the entire process. I opened my first site, furrygirl.com, in January of 2003, and after meeting several other webgirls who don't eat meat, started Veg Porn in fall of 2003 to promote them. I got an amazing response to it, and have spent the last few months building it as a membership site, which opened in May 2004. Right now, I'm working on a vegan sex shop that will be open in July.
