AR-News: AU) High standards set for crocodile hunters

The Northern Territory's Parks and Wildlife Service says  safari operators 
wanting to run crocodile hunts will be held to the highest  standards. 
This week the Territory Government handed the Commonwealth  its final 
proposal for the hunting of 25 saltwater crocodiles a year. 
It says the plan addresses previous concerns about the  humane killing of the 
reptiles. 
Wildlife management officer Mike Letnic says a very rigid  approvals system 
will be in place for landowners and safari operators. 
"We're hoping that the safari hunters will have to operate  according to the 
highest possible standards," he said. 
"To do this we've put a number of, I guess, requirements in  place.
