The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), no less, teamed up with 
animal testing company pet food company Iams in January this year for "Pet 
Fest America" ( http://www.hsus.org/ace/457?searchstring=iams ). HSUS only 
ended the relationship because of the company's support for hunting

not because of the 
company's animal testing activities.

Please email H.S.U.S to say that you are withdrawing your support because of 
their pro-animal abuse stance.

Dear H.S.U.S,

I am strongly opposed to alliances between animal welfare organisations and 
animal testing corporations. I was disappointed to learn that you teamed up 
with IAMS in January. You ended the relationship because of the company's 
support for hunting, not because of animal testing.

Iams has made inaccurate statements and undercover investigations exposed 
appalling Iams cruelty ( http://www.iamscruelty.com/iams.asp and 
http://www.uncaged.co.uk/iams.htm ).

Animal testing in unnecessary, unethical and unreliable. An increasing 
number of dog and cat food manufactures now adhere to ethical non-animal 
testing standards, such the one set by the British Union for 
Anti-Vivisection. The BUAV's "No Animal Testing" standard is internationally 
recognized ( http://www.helpthedogs.org/update/index.html ).

Furthermore, animal welfare organisations are dumping Iams in protest of the 
company's animal testing activities and inaccurate statements ( 
http://www.iamscruelty.com/iams-feat-boot.asp ).

I am withdrawing my support for your organisation in protest of your 
pro-Iams stance.
