A 17-year-old boy accused of mowing down a flock of ducks and geese in
Ahwatukee Foothills pleaded guilty Monday.
Reggie Richardson admitted he was behind the wheel of the 1997 Chevrolet
Camaro that ran over the birds on March 5 near Lakeside Boulevard and
Suki Court.

Richardson is scheduled to be sentenced July 12 on one count of
intentional cruelty to animals, said Damian Aros, a spokesman for the
Maricopa County Juvenile Court.

In the juvenile court system, the possible range of sentences is broad.
It could include anything from probation or incarceration up to a
defendant’s 18th birthday, Aros said.
