146 Dogs And One Cat Found In What Authorities call "Deplorable" Conditions

A LAS ANIMAS COUNTY COUPLE IS FACING POSSIBLE CHARGES OF ANIMAL CRUELTY.

ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICERS RESCUED 146 DOGS AND ONE CAT FROM THE COUPLE'S HOME 
OVER THE WEEKEND.

THE ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY BEING HELD AT THE DENVER DUMB FRIENDS LEAGUE.

ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICERS SAID THE DOGS WERE LIVING IN DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS.

APPARENTLY THEY HAD GONE SO LONG WITHOUT FOOD THAT THEY STARTED TURNING ON 
EACH OTHER.
