Sheba, aka Hannah, was found covered with bites in Tacoma, after she may have 
been used as bait in pit bull fights 
A puppy's plight has caught the eyes of dog lovers surfing the Internet. 
Sheba, a four-month old pit bull mix was discovered in critical shape near a 
Dumpster in Tacoma, covered with more than 15 bites. 
The veterinarian caring for her believes she was used as bait to teach adult 
pit bulls how to fight. 
Now just a few weeks later, the dog has a new lease on life and a number of 
fans that discovered her on petfinder.com and are following her recovery. 
Even when meeting a new dog several times her size, four-month old Sheba is 
the epitome of friendly and fearless.
