AR-News: (US CO) Shelter takes in cat, 146 dogs from 'hoarder'

The Denver Dumb Friends League took custody of 146 dogs, mostly schnauzers, 
and one cat, on Friday. 
The animals were seized from a home in Las Animas County. An "animal hoarder" 
who owned the animals forced them to live in conditions without proper food, 
water and shelter, the Dumb Friends League said. 
The animals must still be examined by a veterinarian before they can be made 
available for adoption. Also, some are too young or have not been properly 
socialized, the league said. 
The animals' owners may face animal cruelty charges.
