FOR years scientists have speculated about why whales enter Sydney Harbour.
Are they curious? Lost?

Now, with record numbers of whales spotted migrating up the NSW coast, they
think they know the answer.
Whales are using the Harbour as a kind of watery Stop, Revive, Survive rest
point.
A National Parks and Wildlife Service spokesman said: "We suspect the
population has increased this year and quite significantly in the past five to 10
years."
The migrating whales are using harbours right along the coast to chill out
while enjoying our clean waterways and perfect weather.
"It's a really long way from the Antarctica to Hervey Bay where they go to
mate," the spokesman said.

"The awful wrongs and sufferings forced upon the innocent, faithful animal
