 June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Japan may allow imports of veal if it eases its
 mad cow-based ban on U.S. beef, the Asahi newspaper reported without
 citing anyone.

Japan and the U.S. will resume talks on ending the ban on U.S. beef
imports June 28 in the U.S., with the prospect of shipments resuming by
the end of the year, the newspaper said.
