June 14 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture said there
were no positive results from screenings in the second week of its
expanded testing program for mad cow disease.
A total of 1,710 screenings were performed on tissue samples from cattle
between June 7 and June 13 and all tests were negative, the department's
Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service said in a statement on its
