For the last show of the season, on Monday, June 14, Watchdog looks at the
ties between the Animal Liberation and Women's Liberation movements.
Guests:
Dr Carol Adams -- Author of The Pornography of Meat and The Sexual Politics
of Meat.

Rights: Current Debates and New Directions."

but had already included a chapter on animals in her 1992 book "Revolution
>From Within."

The future of Watchdog is up in the air. There is a chance that KPFK will
find it a permanent slot. I send my deepest thanks to those who have sent
positive feedback about the show. KPFK management has made it clear that
such feedback has been taken into account as the season was extended and
discussions of a permanent slot have been taking place. If you have enjoyed
the show, and/or you are just thrilled to have an animal issues show on the
air in a city the size of Los Angeles, where everybody spends all of their
the time in the car listening to the radio, please let us and and the
station know. Watchdog takes comments at Watchdog at KPFK.org.
Thanks to Ted Vegvari and PVNET (http://www.pvnet.com ) you can now listen
on line to archived shows you wanted to hear but missed. You'll find the
shows on the Watchdog web pages cited above.
The first fifteen shows of the series are up there now and the Monday 2pm
show should be available some time Monday night.
