These fishermen were particularly incensed by illegal catches in which the 
rock lobster tails were simply ripped from the animal and the carapaces thrown 
back overboard.

"These bodies actually survive for a while and walk around - we've seen it 
happen - and then all the other rock lobsters in the area withdraw, so it's bad 
for business for the other fishermen."
