Lesa Beddingfield now has a full house: five dogs once abandoned, now
adopted. The latest is a puppy she's named Spacey. Lesa found Spacey a
couple of months ago at Pulaski's Martin Methodist College, wraped in
bail twine and inside a trash bag.
...
Pulaski Police Officer Tim Wroda is investigating the case, and says that
the police do have leads. He believes the two cases are not connected.
But if Wroda finds those responsible, the charge is just a misdemeanor.
But with a new law set to take effect July 1, the crime would then become
a felony.
Officer Wroda said, "Misdemeanor and felony is a huge difference. It's
jail time, and that's what these people deserve, I think."
