LOS ANGELES -- Three California residents are due in an Oakland federal
court Friday to answer charges they were involved in attacks against a
pharmaceutical company.

Pinole, Calif., residents Kevin Kjonas, Jacob Conroy and Lauran Gazzola
were arrested earlier this week over allegations they led attacks and
harassed employees of Huntingdon Life Sciences.

The government says the three belong to a group called Stop Huntingdon
Animal Cruelty USA. Prosecutors say the group is responsible for attacks
against the company that include vandalism, hacking into its computers
and harassing its employees.
