The Madison Jefferson County Humane Society in Southern Indiana is crowded.
The AC was going to gas last night or today, but has decided to hold off
until Thursday so the animals have been given 2 extra days.

I can get dogs and cats marked for rescue and held for reputable rescue.
I am willing to help pull and we have several who are willing to help
transport.

Getting one out that just came in frees up space for one
who has been around longer.

Izzy was adopted yesterday by a family with 2 small children.
She has been abused and is very hand shy.
She NEVER should have gone out with them so she will probably
be returned today.  Her card clearly said home with NO small children!!
If and when she is returned, they will gas her too.

All cats are URGENT.
They plan to empty all cages tomorrow.
We have 10-15 kittens aged 8-14 weeks that will also be gassed.
