AN appeal is being considered after six soldiers who tortured and killed
four kittens escaped with fines.
Queensland Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson may challenge the sentences
handed down in Townsville Magistrates Court last Monday.
A police spokeswoman today said he had 28 days to appeal.
"We'll be looking at other sentences for similar matters and all the case
law and making a decision," the spokeswoman said.
