AR-News: (CA) Action alert - watch over and protect the birds

PLEASE WATCH OVER AND PROTECT THE BIRDS

The Liberal government has already killed almost 1000 double-crested
cormorants at Presqu'ile Provincial Park in four days of shooting !!

But they won't shoot the birds if there are people looking on.  The Peaceful
Parks was successful in delaying the shooting today - Friday May 14 - by
having people canoe out to the island where the cormorants are nesting -
High Bluff Island.

The height of the nesting season is just beginning and will last for the
next three weeks.  We anticipate the government will attempt to kill the
bulk of the birds over this period.

We need your help !!

Peaceful Parks will provide canoe, paddlers, life jackets and all other
equipment, if you PLEASE consider spending a day on the water watching and
protecting these birds.

This will be your last chance to experience the birds in their full glory.
The government intends to kill all tree nesting cormorants.  The cormorants
are beautiful.

Please watch over these birds for one day.
